The Baires Tango Lessons have moved from Fridays to Thursdays.

Baires Tango – Argentine Tango by Argentines-  is a collective effort of  five Argentine Tango teachers (Oscar, Rafa, Meche, Roberto and Adriana). Group tango classes are held every Thursday from 8:00pm to 9:15pm at River Oaks Pilates Studio 3425 South Shepherd Dr, Ste. 220, Houston, TX 77098.  On Shepperd, one block north of Richmond, the studio is located above MW Cleaners. The price for a 4-class module is $48 per person. Walk-ins: $15.

Damian started dancing tango in 1991. In 2000, he left his profession as a dentist to devote himself to dancing professionally. Since then, he has been teaching and performing in Argentina, Central America, Europe and the United States. This time he returns to H- Town to share his passion with us.

ORLANDO BUDINI, Argentinean born and authentic Milonguero, spends
6 months of the year in Buenos Aires and the rest in Europe,
Mexico and U.S.A., dancing and teaching at the best and the
most popular milongas. He teaches to listen, to understand the
beat and “To dance to the music” in the old and classic style
of “Milongueros Porteños” (Chest to Chest) like in Buenos
Aires’ Milongas.

Registration is limited. Participants must dance tango.

Tomas is the most sought after tango teacher in the U.S. being the only argentinian dancer who teaches on a regular basis at most tango festivals across the country. Focus will be given to the social aspect of the dance and giving personal attention to each student.
